In our chiropractic office especially, we primarily offer one service, and that is the chiropractic adjustment. But how you deliver that and who you deliver it to, those are the services that our clinic is known best for.
1. Maternity Chiropractic Care
The number one service we are known for is maternity care. We have a subspecialty in maternity care also referred to as prenatal care. We work with the Webster Technique. The office is ICPA certified in the Webster Technique. And that’s the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association where I took some extra coursework and sat for an exam and became certified in that. So, we’re primarily known for maternity care.
2. Pediatric Chiropractic Care
The second service we are well known for is pediatric chiropractic care. We work with a lot of infants and children. And again, the service for an infant or a mom is a chiropractic adjustment. The adjustments are just going to be different because moms have different needs than infants and children, but they all need to have their subluxations removed and corrected to optimize nerve system function and make sure that they are healthy as they can be.
3. Upper Cervical Spine Care
The third chiropractic service that we do a lot of, that is different from most other clinics, is our work with the upper cervical spine. We are upper cervical minded in that we look at the top bone, the atlas, and focus on that because every nerve in your body passes through the ring of atlas and then moves down. So, by making sure that the upper cervical is clear, that can really help balance a lot of the body’s neural emotional aspects. We are making adjustments to affect the nerve system, which in turn will affect the hormonal balance.
Everyone’s heard of people who have chemical imbalances and they put them on these different medications. But your body makes all the chemicals that your body needs, and it should make them in the right quantity at the exact time. So, if people are having dysregulation in the body because they’re not cranking out the right amounts of chemicals at the right time, well, your nerve system is responsible for that. Clearing the upper cervical spine gives the best chance of eliminating any nerve interference so the body can communicate correctly and know exactly how much of which chemicals should be made at the right time, and then tell the organs to secrete them.
In summary, the primary three services that we use that set us a little bit apart from other offices is that we use a lot of upper cervical technique, we are certified in Webster Technique for the expecting mom, and we have a subspecialty in pediatric care, working with infants and children.
